If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Caution is advised when this drug is used in the elderly. They may be more prone to drug side effects since drug blood levels tend to increase with age (as kidney function decreases).
